Let me start by saying that I like the vibe of this song. It's cool, it's different, and Keeymo's flow works with the feel of the track. This record has its own character, and that's something I respect when listening to independent music.
Now, am I sure this is a radio record? Honestly, I'm not sure. But do I think this song could find a home in the mixtape game? YES! I would run this on my mixtape.
And let me explain something about the real job of a DJ.
A DJ's job isn't just to play the same songs everybody else is playing. One of our most important jobs is to discover new music before the radio and other DJs catch on. We're always digging, searching, and looking for that next sound that people haven't heard yet.
Think about a graffiti artist looking for that perfect new train to paint. The artist is searching for something different, something that gives them a new canvas and a new opportunity to make a statement.
As a DJ, I'm looking for that same kind of discovery in music.
I'm not saying “HAUNTED HOUSE” is my new train just yet, but this record is different, it's not bad, and I respect what Keeymo is bringing to the table. That's enough for me to give this one a chance.
There are a couple of things I'd like to see improved. I'd like the vocals to sound cleaner and stronger, and I believe the track needs to be remastered to give it a more polished overall sound. Those changes could help the record make an even better impression on listeners.
But on that note, I'm going to support this song. I'd love to play “HAUNTED HOUSE” on my live show on SugarWaterRadio (SWR) because independent artists need DJs who are willing to step outside the box and give different music an opportunity.
Keeymo, keep working on your sound. Don't be afraid to be different, and take the time to get those vocals and the mastering right. I want to see what you do next!
That's what supporting independent music is all about.

DJ Franchise's verdict: Different vibe, cool flow, and mixtape potential. The vocals could sound better, and the track needs remastering. I'm supporting this one and would love to feature it on my live SWR show.
