I'm going to be honest with you. This was a tough one for me!
First, let's give credit where credit is due. Junora can sing, and I like the vibe of this record. There is something here that caught my attention, and I believe the song has potential.
But there's also an up-and-down feeling throughout the track that I'm having trouble understanding. The song moves in ways that don't always feel connected to me, and I think that takes away from the overall experience.
Is the song good? YES.
Would I play it on the radio? YES!
But here is where I have to ask the bigger question: Will people remember this song after they hear it?
That's what separates a song that sounds good in the moment from a record that stays with you long after the music stops.
I think Junora needs a strong producer who can help bring everything together. The vocals are there, but I would like to hear someone work with her on the direction of the song, make the different sections feel more connected, and help the track deliver a stronger overall experience.
The production also needs some work. I want the music to complement her voice, build the right atmosphere, and give the listener something memorable to take away.
Junora, I don't think you need to change who you are as an artist. I think you need the right team around you to help bring out what is already there. Sometimes, a good producer can hear something in an artist that the artist hasn't fully discovered yet.
And that's what I'd like to see happen here.
The foundation is there. The vocals are there. The vibe is there. Now it's about bringing all those pieces together and making the song hit harder.
My advice? Don't throw this record away. Work on it! Get the right producer involved, revisit the track, and see if you can turn this into something people will want to listen to again and again.
I'm giving “STOP ME” a chance because I hear potential, and I would support giving it radio play. But I want to hear what Junora can do when everything comes together.
That's what THE MIC is about: recognizing the talent, being honest about what needs work, and encouraging artists to keep growing.
“STOP ME”

DJ Franchise's verdict: Junora has a good voice, and I like the vibe. I'd give this song radio play, but I'd love to hear a producer bring more direction to the track and make the song more memorable.
